Be one of the Best - be an advocate, be a Rotaractor of San Francisco
IT IS TIME: As we all know, the world is a very dangerous place right now. Globally, everywhere is a war zone. Wars in Ukraine, in the Philippines, the killing of Lumads, and the assassination of peace advocates, it's clear that we need to fight for peace even harder than ever before.

And this year's World Rotaract Week is an opportunity to do just that!

This year's World Rotaract Week will focus on Peace and Anti-Terrorism. We'll be encouraging everyone, especially young people in our communities, to get involved with activities that celebrate Rotaract's impact on their communities and the world at large. We were able to spread peace and friendship thorugh these activities: a peace walk through town with posters for peace; a candlelight commitment for youth, informal sectors and government agencies to be agents for peace.
We believe that showing our commitment to peace will show others how important it is to them as well. And if we can spread this message globally—and make sure everyone knows what they can do to help make the world safer—then maybe someday we'll live in a world free of war!
That's why World Rotaract Week is so important: it gives us an opportunity to come together as a community and celebrate all that we've done to make a difference. This year's theme is "peace" and "anti-terrorism," which speaks volumes about what we need right now: a voice that says "no more."
