Community Service encourages every Rotarian and Rotaractor to find ways to improve the quality of life for people in their communities and to serve the public interest.
Community Service Team - The committee develops projects for the club membership to participate that will benefit the needy and assist community organizations and agencies. Projects that align with this committee: Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, Salvation Army Bell Ringing, Blood Drive, School Supply Round-up and Gleaners.

This Committee is also responsible for sponsoring and overseeing student Rotaract and Interact clubs. Similarly, this committee facilitates the annual Rotary Youth Leadership Awards held at Camp Tecumseh. There are also numerous opportunities for Rotarians to assist with the Marion Co Spelling Bee, Rotary District Speech Contest, IPS Science Fair Competitions, and many more fulfilling opportunities to connect with local youth through education.
Sub-Teams Under Education Youth Recognition - The team develops programs to recognize outstanding students in Indianapolis. Current projects include the Spelling Bee, Rotary Speech Contest and High School Honors Day.
