Be one of the Best - be an advocate, be a Rotaractor of San Francisco
The power of the internet cannot be underestimated in today's digital age. It has transformed the way we communicate, connect, and do business. In the same way, it has also revolutionized the way non-profit organizations promote their advocacies and connect with their stakeholders. Recognizing this, the IMahe project was born with the aim of helping youth organizations and Rotaract clubs showcase their service to the community through their own website.
With a low cost of only $12 per year covering the domain fee, IMahe provides an opportunity for these organizations to create a credible and visible online presence. By having their own website, they can attract potential donors, members, and volunteers, and ultimately grow their network. In partnership with the Rotaract Club of the University of Moratuwa in Sri Lanka, IMahe organized a seminar workshop on website building, providing participants with the necessary skills to create and manage their own websites.
The project IMAHE (Instill More Advocacies in Helping the World through Websites), aims to assist Rotaract Club and Youth Organizations in promoting their service to the community by providing them with an opportunity to showcase their organization through a website. The project offers websites that are easy to use and edit, including custom email, for as low as $12 per year, covering the domain fee only.
The project emphasizes the importance of establishing an online presence to communicate and connect with people in the community. Having a website makes clubs more credible and visible online, and opens up growth opportunities. IMahe has partnered with the Rotaract Club of the University of Moratuwa in Sri Lanka to present "Project IMahe: A Seminar Workshop on Website Building," which is free for all to join. The seminar will be conducted in three sessions, covering an overview and basics of website building, website development, and small group tutorials on September 3, September 4, and September 10, respectively.
The event "Project IMAHE: A Seminar Workshop on Website Building" was attended by 10 clubs. These clubs include:
Rotaract Club of Mandaue East (2), Rotaract Club of San Francisco (2), Rotaract Club of Dumaguete (2), Rotaract Club of EVSU (2), Rotaract Club of Midtown Butuan-CSU Chapter (2), Rotaract Club of Butuan East Central (1), Rotaract Club of Kandaya-Tacloban (1), Rotary Club of Korbel, Rotaract Club of Tolong (1), Rotaract Mandaue East (1).
